Superconducting qubits are a leading candidate in the race to build a quantum computer. Although there have been recent demonstrations of more than tens of qubits, contemporary quantum processors are limited by high error rates. In this talk, I will present approaches to building low-error superconducting quantum computers at scale---noise spectroscopy and tunable coupler, which were developed at MIT. The outlook for fault-tolerant quantum computing with superconducting qubits will also be discussed.
