IAP Seminar (Development of high performance p-type metal halide and perovskite transistors)
Date : January 18, 2022 14:00 ~ 15:00
Speaker : Prof. Yongyoung Noh
Professor : Prof. Takhee Lee
Location : Zoom Meeting
Development of high performance p-type metal halide and perovskite transistors
In this talk, I would like to introduce general overview of p-type halide perovskite semiconductors for developing high performance thin film transistors and recent progresses of our group including zinc doped copper iodide (CuI) metal halides, and 2D and 3D Sn based halide perovskites. At the first part of seminar, various wide band gap p-type CuI semiconductors will be introduced. I will mainly address electrical properties, band structure, and doping of the materials. In addition, main challenges for commercialization will be discussed. After then, 2D and 3D Sn based halide perovskites will be introduced. I will introduce our approaches to controlling band structure, doping and composition and film crystallinity of Sn based halide perovskites and discuss structure – electrical properties relationship for achieving high charge carrier mobility.
